The run · 01 · The first one ever

Sand, salt and a paper-bark fire under the Southern Cross.

The very first OPUS Adventure Run on Australian soil. A small convoy of owners meeting at Inskip Point, ferrying across, and crossing K'Gari together. Self-drive, self-sufficient, but never alone. We sort the campsites and a group dinner. You bring the camper and the kids.

Quick answers

Before you ask.

Is this a guided tour?
No. It's a peer convoy with an OPUS lead vehicle. You're self-driving, self-cooking, self-camping. We're just doing it together.
Can I bring my partner and kids?
Yes, family welcome. You'll have flagged your crew size on the EOI form, and we'll confirm numbers for the group dinner in the follow-up.
What if I don't have a 4WD?
K'Gari is sand-only, so a 4WD tow vehicle on all-terrain tyres (or better) is a must. Reach out to your nearest showroom if you need a hand sorting one.
Will my van handle it?
Every OPUS in the AU range is built for it. We'll send a short prep checklist (tyre pressures, recovery basics) to everyone who registered.
